Legal Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sacramento Local Agency Formation Commission on Wednesday March 4, 2026, at 5:30 pm or as soon thereafter as is practicable, shall conduct a public hearing to

1) The Consideration and adoption of the environmental review and the Airport South Industrial Reorganization for the Detachment from Natomas Fire Protection District, Sacramento County Water Agency Zone 13, and County Service Area 1 and Annexation into the City of Sacramento and Sacramento Area Sewer District. There is the potential for the extension or continuation of any previously authorized charge, fee, assessment, or tax by the local agencies within the affected territory.

Pursuant to Government Code §56663, any owner of land within the proposal area or any registered voter residing within the proposal area may submit written opposition to the proposal at any time before the conclusion of the subject Public Hearing. Unless written opposition to this proposal or written opposition to LAFCO’s intention to waive protest proceedings is received before the conclusion of the Public Hearing on March 4, 2026, the Commission intends to waive protest proceedings (LAFCo Project #2025-04); and

2) The consideration and adoption of the Final LAFCo budget for Final Fiscal Year 2026-27 Budget.

The hearing will be held in the Board Chambers, 700 H Street, Room 1450, Sacramento, California. Public May Address the Commisison on Matters not on the Agenda.
